President Raul Khadzhimba congratulated the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on his birthday.
The congratulatory telegram, in particular, states:
“I would like to especially acknowledge your personal contribution to the development of friendly Abkhazian-Russian relations, the strengthening of the international standing of the Abkhazian state, and to finding solutions to important issues for Abkhazian people. We are grateful to you for this”.
