Dear women of Abkhazia!
I congratulate you on the International Women’s Day!
This warm spring celebration symbolises the arrival of spring and the revival of nature, it reminds us of a special role women play in the history and life of our state, of their ability to preserve the family traditions, raise children and achieve successes in professional and social activity, while continuing to stay feminine.
It is thanks to your dedication and patience that our age-old traditions continue to be respected in our society, and also such values as family, children and care for the older generation.
Your strength of spirit, courage and kindness helped us survive the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia of 1992-1993 and the difficult post-war years. Today, building a socially-oriented and prosperous state would be impossible without active participation of our women - dedicated mothers, sisters, daughters, and great professionals in their work.
On this spring day, I would like to sincerely congratulate you, dear women, on the 8th of March! I wish you strong health, successes, family happiness and prosperity!
