Acting President of the Republic of Abkhazia Valeriy Bganba congratulated President of the Republic of Nauru Lionel Aingimea on the Independence Day of Nauru.
The congratulation states, in particular:
“January 31, 1968, became an important milestone in the modern history of your state. It was a day of the establishment of an independent democratic state.
The people of Nauru, having traveled a difficult road to freedom, walk confidently into the future on the path of democratic development.
The people of the Republic of Abkhazia are deeply grateful to the leadership of Nauru for recognizing our republic and supporting it in the international arena. We sincerely hope that with your direct participation, we will witness the strengthening and development of mutually beneficial cooperation between our states.
