Opening the meeting, Raul  Khadzhimba underlined the important role of touristic field in the economy of the country. “We often say that the touristic sphere is the engine of our economy, but in order for this engine to work properly a lot needs to be done”, said the President.

03.12.2014 The President Raul Khadzhimba visited objects of Frontier management of Federal Security Service (FSS) of Russia in Gal region of the Republic of Abkhazia.
The first point of the program was the examination of “Ingur” checkpoint through state border. The chief of the checkpoint reported Raul  Khadzhimba on the situation, organization and implementation of joint border patrol of the state border of the Republic of Abkhazia.
