Dear compatriots!
I congratulate you on the 27th anniversary of the liberation of our capital from the Georgian invaders. September 27, 1993, is one of the most glorious and heroic dates in the history of the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia. On this day, an operation that lasted for 11 days has ended with the full liberation of Sukhum. Placing the state flag above the capital of Abkhazia, our fighters victoriously continued the offensive operation to liberate the entire territory of the state.
In fierce battles for the liberation of Sukhum, hundreds of sons and daughters of the Homeland died the death of the brave together with the volunteers who came to defend the freedom of Abkhazia. Eternal glory to the Heroes!
