Today, the divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Abkhazia held large-scale exercises in Ochamchira. They were timed to the 14th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry. The President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhaniya observed the exercises. Fire, mountain rescue, medical, canine, pyrotechnic services, the inspection of small vessels, and other units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations demonstrated their rescue operation skills in emergencies. Special equipment was involved, including rescue aircraft.
President of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhaniya participated in a festive meeting dedicated to the 14th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Abkhazia which took place in the district House of Culture. On behalf of the Head of State, Head of the Administration of the President Alkhas Kvitsiniya read out the congratulation by the Head of State to the personnel of the Ministry.
