I congratulate all medical workers of Abkhazia on their professional holiday. This year, this day has a special significance. All over the world, doctors were at the frontline of protecting humanity from the coronavirus pandemic that took hold of all countries.

Thanks to the professionalism and dedication of the Abkhazian doctors, nurses, employees of the ambulance stations, orderlies, and other health workers to their chosen profession, the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic were minimized in our state. Often without sleep and rest, risking your own health, you do your duty, for which we are grateful to you.

The state does everything in its power to support the domestic healthcare system and improve its logistic equipment.

On this festive day, I wish you, dear healthcare workers, strong health, professional achievements, and prosperity to your families.
